Waitakere United thrashed Ba FC 4-0 in the O-League match this afternoon.

Both teams had equal chances of scoring in the first half where they failed to capitalize.

Ba was lucky to escape a penalty call after a shot from the home side saw the ball hit Alvin Singh on the arm in the penalty area.

Both teams were locked nil-all in the first half.

Ba suffered a major blow in the second half after Marika Madigi was shown a red card which led to Waitakere capitalizing on the one man advantage to score the first goal.

A few minutes later Waitakere United Midfielder Ross McKenzie doubled their lead after a nice chip from a free kick.

The home side further stretched their lead to four from a corner kick and an own goal by Ba.
