People affected by flood and Tropical Cyclone Gene may have to wait till next week before any assistance is announced by the interim cabinet, as the National DISMAC is expected to hand in their first assessment report to cabinet early next week.
DISMAC Director, Joeli Rokovada said they are still receiving some prelimnary reports from various divisions on damages and need for food rations.
Rokovada has assured they are giving priority to housing assistance and food rations.
