Digicel Fiji 7's management say they need some new and young players in the National 7's team and that is why Osea Kolinisau was not considered for the next leg of the IRB 7's series.

Some rugby fans were waiting to hear Kolinisau's name in the 16 member Fiji 7's squad who is making a comeback after an injury break.

Fiji 7's Assistant coach, Timoci Wainiqolo said other players have also proved their worth.

Meanwhile, Joji Ragamate is expected to resume training today after being cleared by FRU yesterday.

The New Zealand 7s kicks off in Wellington next Friday with Fiji taking on Scotland at 1.50pm in its first pool match.

Fiji then takes on Australia at 4.46pm and the last pool match is against Portgual at 8.34pm.
