Wainimakutu Junior Secondary School from Namosi are currently leading the Boy’s Division in the Suva Zone 1 competition currently underway at the TFL National Stadium with 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze.
Defending champions Nasinu Secondary School is second with 2 Gold and 2 Silver, while Dudley, Lami High, MGM and LDS have won a Gold each.
Wainimakutu also lead in the Girl’s Division with 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze while Namosi Secondary is second with 1 Gold and 1 Silver, while Dudley High School and Cathedral Secondary School have won a Gold each.
The 400 metres heats are currently underway.
No records have been broken so far as the organizers have had to rely on the 2007 records, after last year’s hosts, Ballantine Memorial School, did not keep last year's records.
