The Waimanu 7s team walked away $5,000 dollars richer yesterday after they beat Army Green in the finals of the Digicel Suva 7s by 12-10.

Waimanu's Sakeasi Roko-suka scored two tries in the second half to help his team win after they were trailing 7-nil at half time.

Army's try came from Ilai Tinani who scored a quick try in the first half and a conversion and added a penalty in the second half.

The Army side had the experience of Dale Tonawai, Timoci Volavola and Napolioni Naulia while Nasoni Roko played a crucial role for Waimanu dictating play, helping his side to victory.

Looking at the results from yesterday's finals: - Lautoka Maroon beat Nasinu 19-0, in the Under-19, Eagle Brothers beat Natabua

7-5, in the Bowl final Army Gold beat Veiyasana Babas 31-12, Police Blue beat Wardens 33-5.
 
Both teams have qualified for the Suva Rugby Festival to be held in January.
