The Waimanu 7s team has created the biggest upset on day 2 of the Digicel Suva International 7s after they beat the Fiji Barbarians by 12-nil in the last hour.
Waimanu coach Sailosi Naiteqe Senior said they have proved to the people of Fiji that the national team can be beaten.
Naiteqe added their game plan was to tackle hard and he is confident that Joe Nakaira will catch the attention of the selectors after a tremendous performance.
Fiji Barbarians coach Iliesa Tanivula said his boys made a lot of mistakes and they will go back and study the game before their last pool encounter against Tonga later this evening.
The Fiji Barbarians has to beat Tonga to qualify for the main Cup quarter final tomorrow.
