Jone Buinimasi from Vatuwaqa said they are helping the affected families to move to the school.
The bridge at Wailoku settlement is under water and families living near the bridge have been evacuated to Koio village.
A resident Pastor Samu Tataqa confirmed the families have gone to higher grounds.
About 10 families in Irrigation road Lakena Nausori are getting ready to move out of their homes as there is about three feet of water on the feeder road.
A resident Francis Singh said flood waters are about to enter a few houses.
In Nausori, Cautata road and Vuci South road are under about three feet of water.
Waisea Bunawa from Vuci said that only trucks and four wheel drive vehicles are able to access those roads now.
A portion of Waila Road in Nausori is now closed as flood waters have reached the road.
Flood waters have entered some houses in Narere Navosai.
A resident Umesh Prasad said they have about 2 to three feet of water inside their house.
He added that around 20 houses are affected.
A portion of the road in Ragg Avenue, Namadi Heights is closed due to a fallen tree.
A school teacher from Natovi Romera Senibua confirmed that a number of areas are flooded in Tailevu.
Senibua said areas that are flooded are Lodoni Primary School and Namasimasi village.
The Lodoni road in Tailevu which is from Korovou to Natovi is currently closed after a landslide blocked the road.
DISMAC said their team is currently at the site clearing up the road.
Also the Rakiraki access road and Dawakoto road in Rewa are underwater and closed to all traffic.
