Australian based prop forward Mitchell Wade has to finalize his citizenship to be eligible to play for the Fiji Warriors side at the upcoming Pacific Rugby Cup tournament next month.

This was confirmed to Fijivillage by Warriors manager Joe Brown.

Brown has confirmed that Wade is not a Fiji born player but spent 10 years of his life in Fiji before moving to Australia.

Brown added Wade has been advised to go through the process through the Immigration Department and they are looking for a replacement if the need arises.

The Fiji Warriors will take on Queensland Reds A on the 2nd of next month.
