The National Fire Authority Officials has given the greenlight to Williams and Goslings to remove items and containers which were at their warehouse which burnt down this morning, however the building remains out of bounds until forensic investigators complete their work.
Chief Executive Officer Fernando Lobendahn said they are still not able to establish what was inside the warehouse when the fire started.
Lobendahn adds that those people who had items to pick up from the warehouse are to contact them directly for further information.
The fire started at around 6 this morning, with people living in surrounding areas and travelling to work reporting they were seeing huge flames and black smoke coming from Walu Bay.
Some firefighters were returning from containing a fire at the Great Wok of China kitchen in Flagstaff when they came across the fire at the W&G warehouse, which is located close to the NFA headquarters.
Firefighters and trucks then tended to the W&G blaze, controlling it about an hour and a half after it supposedly started.
Meanwhile, according to National Fire Authority Chief Executive officer, Jone Koroi, they are still monitoring the hot spots inside the building.
The fire fighters managed to save three cargo trucks, three containers loaded with goods and three new FEA transformers.
