Former Lelean U 19 rugby player Sikeli Vuruna is putting up his hands for selection after scoring three tries in the Digicel Fiji Barbarians 45 nil win over Burenitu Votu of Bua.

The Northern side had no answer to a much fitter, powerful and aggressive Vuruna as he broke tackles, fended off players and show blistering speed down the side line.

Joeli Lutumailagi is another player who could get the nod for the next IRB 7s leg in Hong Kong and Japan as he was in brilliant form after 2 months of rest from competitive rugby.

The other player who stood out from the Babas side was former Wardens Captain Apisai Naiyabo after he contested the kick offs, line out and was instrumental in support play.

Assistant Coach Etuate Waqa said the players have performed up to their expectations so far.
