Vunivalu Clan to discuss GCC Nominees
Fijivillage has been reliably informed that Adi Silivia Matanitobua, who is the eldest of the Vunivalu clan and the eldest daughter of the late Tui Namosi, met with the Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama on Monday.
When contacted, Namosi chief and military officer Lt Ratu Ifereimi Buaserau said he has no idea what Bainimarama and Adi Silivia discussed, but only confirmed that the meeting took place.
Fijivillage News has established that she raised her concerns to the Interim PM, if Namosi is left out from the new Great council of Chiefs.
Meanwhile, GCC Taskforce Chairman Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo said all the Roko Tui from all the 14 provinces have been given until the end of this month to submit the name of 3 chiefs to be members of GCC.
