Vunisea Secondary School athletics team from Kadavu is banking on their Senior Girls 4x400 metres relay team and are eager to win against the Salote Mereula led team from ACS and the Paulini Korowaqa led side from Suva Grammar, at next week's Coca Cola Games.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Vunisea Secondary School Assistant Principal Jekope Vunilase said that this relay team is back to create an upset.
The Vunisea Secondary School 4x400 metres relay team is the same team that broke the Intermediate Grade record in 2007.
The Senior Girls 4x400 metres Coca Cola Games record stands at 4 minutes 1 second set by Suva Grammar School in 2007.
The two day Coca Cola Games kicks off at the TFL National Stadium on Friday next week.
