Vunibaka wants World Cup to stay in Fiji forever
Fiji’s most successful rugby 7s World Cup player apart from Waisale Serevi, Marika Vunibaka believes we still can make it.
The Vione flyer from Gau is still the leading World Cup sevens try scorer in the 20 year history of the tournament.
Vunibaka said no other country deserves to win this cup for the third time other than Fiji.
Fiji is the only country who has won the World Cup twice in 1997 and 2005.
This will be the last Melrose Cup as sevens has been included in the next Olympic Games in Brazil in 2016.
Meanwhile, minnows Philippines will create history in Moscow as it will be the first ever world cup tournament for the nation in any sport.
The Rugby World Cup 7s will be held from the 28th to the 30th of June.
