Former Canterbury Crusaders winger Marika Vunibaka is the captain for the Digicel Fiji 7's team to the Hong Kong and Adelaide 7's.
Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, Manager Opetaia Ravai said Vunibaka's experience in top level rugby has given him the edge to lead the Fiji 7's team.
The 33 year old Vione lad said the challenge is a huge task for him especially at a time when the side has not won any IRB 7's series.
Vunibaka will be assisted by Emosi Vucago and Setefano Cakau.
The coaching staff has also made one change to the side, with Epeli Vuniwaqa replacing Jone Koroduadua, who was not granted a visa by the Australian Embassy.
The Fiji 7's side will jet out of the country on Monday morning.
