History will be created when our very own female rugby referee Koini Vuli will set foot in Dubai next weekend.
Vuli, will be the first ever Pacific Islander appointed to officiate at the upcoming Women's IRB Dubai 7s tournament.
The former Suva Grammar School student said her dedication and hardwork has paid off.
Vuli is the younger sister of former Flying Fijians hooker, Sunia Koto.
Meanwhile, the Dubai 7's kicks off next Friday with Fiji taking on Spain at 6.50pm.
