After nine years in the President's Office the people of Vuda are at this moment traditionally welcoming back their high chief and former president Ratu Josefa Iloilo at the chiefly village of Veiseisei Vuda.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life are currently at the chiefly village of Veiseisei to traditionally welcome former President the Tui Vuda, Ratu Josefa Iloilo home.
At the moment Ratu Tevita Momoedonu is presenting the i-sevusevu vakaturaga, and traditional yaqona presentation.
Spokesperson Ratu Tevita Momoedonu said the 21 districts in the province of Ba will all be represented by their chiefs at Viseisei to welcome Ratu Iloilo after serving in the President’s Office for the past 9 years.
Ratu Momoedonu said Ka Levu Ratu Sakiusa Makutu, the high chief of the Nadroga/Navosa province, and the Tui Navitilevu from Ra will also be part of the welcome ceremony to signify the important role the Tui Vuda has played.
Other guests will include the heads of all government departments in Lautoka, the staff of the University of Fiji, hotel managers in Nadi and Lautoka and also representatives from the Methodist Church and the Shiri Sanatan Dharam Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji.
Ratu Momoedonu said people of all walks of life from the west will be at Viseisei to welcome the Tui Vuda back to his home.
The traditional welcome ceremony for the Tui Vuda will begin this hour in Vuda.
