Acting President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will accompany former President Ratu Josefa Iloilo to his home in Veiseisei, Vuda, today where he will be traditionally welcomed back by the Vanua of Vuda.
Tui Vuda's spokesperson Ratu Tevita Momoedonu said this is a special occasion not only for the people of Vuda but also for the province of Ba, as they will welcome back one of their traditional leaders.
Ratu Momoedonu said they have been preparing for this day for the past month as they know the importance of Ratu Iloilo's contribution to the nation during his term as president.
Ratu Josefa Iloilo will be traditionally welcomed at 3pm this afternoon.
