The people of Viseisei, Vuda have supported the actions taken by their 89yr old high chief and President of Fiji, Ratu Josefa Iloilo when he abrogated the 1997 Constitution and signed decrees like the retirement age and elections to be held 2014.
According to Vuda Chief, Ratu Tevita Momoedonu, he said these chiefs and people of Vuda visited the Tui Vuda at Government House on Monday and presented him with a tabua or whales tooth, to show their support of his current leadership.
Meanwhile, the Momo of Ba or the chiefs of Ba will also make a courtesy call to Ratu Iloilo today.
Roko Tui Ba, Ratu Viliame Vesikula said the visit is a traditional one since Ratu Iloilo, is one of the members of the Bose Vanua of Ba and a high chief of Vuda.
More than 70 chiefs will be part of the delegation.
