Fiji Sevens player Emosi Vucago scored the winning try for Suva 1 in the cup quarter finals to overcome defending champion of the Fiji TV Sevens Nadroga White by 19-15.
Suva 1 has the services of some of the players of the Fiji sevens squad like Vucago, Mitieli Nacagilevu and Peni Gaunimeke, Sakenasa Aca and Jimilai Nakaidawa.
Nadroga White led Suva 1, 10-7 in the first half.
Suva 1 will now play Namosi in the second semifinal while Lautoka takes on Nadi.
