Digicel Fiji 7s Captain Emosi Vucago and Pio Tuwai will know today, whether or not they will be part of the 12 man squad to the Australia and Hong Kong 7s tournaments.
Both players stayed away from contact training last week while recovering from a injury sustained during the USA 7s tournament, where Fiji went out in the Cup quarterfinals losing to Australia.
Fiji 7s Manager Jope Tuivanuavou said Vucago and Tuwai had medical test yesterday and after today’s training run, Coach Iliesa Tanivula will make a decision on their inclusion.
Tuivanuavou said the players in the training squad have been going through tough training from yesterday.
The Fiji 7s team to Australia and Hong Kong 7s tournaments will be announced today at 3pm.
The Australia 7s will be from 19th to the 21st and the Hong Kong 7s tournament from 26th to the 28th of this month.
