Digicel Fiji 7's Captain Emosi Vucago is likely to resume the play-maker role for the Wellington and San Diego 7's in February.

Vucago, who is a natural half-back was moved to the play-maker position by Coach Waisale Serevi in the last two legs of the IRB 7's series.

It is understood that the 16 man squad which was named for the next tournament does not have a specialist play-maker, which will see Vucago as the number 1 choice for the position.

Serevi said the next few weeks will be very hectic for the 16-players vying for a spot in the 12 member team for the Wellington and San Diego 7s tournaments.

He said the players will have to undergo intensive training to be physically fit, after they lacked speed in the first leg of the IRB World 7s Series in Dubai and George.

The Wellington 7s tournament will be held on the 6th and 7th of February.
