Vucago In Doubt For Adelaide 7s
Manager, Jope Tuivanuavou said they are keeping their fingers crossed that Vucago will be declared fit this afternoon. However contingency plans are already in place if the star player is ruled out.
With two more warm-up matches today, against Japan and hosts Australia, Tanivula will use Niumaia Cakacaka who was an impact player in the Hong Kong 7s together with winger Osea Kolinisau to take turns in running at half-back.
Tuivanuavou said they need more build up games as their pool is particularly tough with four "core" teams that have been taking part in all IRB 7s tournaments.
The Australia 7s in Adelaide kicks off at 7pm tomorrow.
Fiji's opening pool game against Scotland is on Friday at 8.28pm, on Saturday at 3.35pm we face France and the deciding pool game at 6.56pm we play Argentina.
