The Lautoka soccer team has been boosted for the opening match of the Pillay's Garments CVC series with the return of top striker Jone Vono Junior.
Association President Shalen Prasad said Vono Junior's suspension has been lifted and he is now free to play for Lautoka.
Junior was suspended for breaking team rules during the O-League match against Solomons Marist FC in Honiara last year.
Prasad said his presence will boost the team's strike-force against Navua on Sunday.
Prasad is also working on the release of Ba striker Osea Vakatalesau and Navua duo Alvin Avinesh and Lorima Dau.
He said if these players get their release on time, they will be sure starters for the Blues this weekend.
The Lautoka/Navua match in the CVC series will be played on Sunday at 3pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
