Former Fiji soccer team goalkeeper Tagi Vonolagi will be the capital city side’s new coach for the Courts Homecentres IDC.

Vonolagi arrives into the country tomorrow and take charge of the Suva team from Monday, which goes into camp from this weekend.

Suva soccer president Mahen Prasad said Vonolagi's presence will boost his team's chances of winning the IDC. Prasad said they are still trying to get few overseas based players but nothing has been confirmed as yet.

He said Suva has won a major tournament for a long time but believes they can do wonders in the last major tournament of the 2009 season.

Suva will meet Nasinu in their opening match of the IDC on 8th October.
