Being a cancer survivor myself, seeing the facilities for cancer patients at the hospital, motivated me to do something for them and other future patients.

These are the words of Vice Consul at the U.S Embassy Heather Coble, during a volunteer clean up at the CWM's adult and children's chemotherapy room this afternoon.

Coble said through funding from the J.Kirby Simon Foundation, staff of the U.S. Embassy and students of International School teamed up to clean and repaint the two wards.

Coble said she understands what the cancer patients are going through and she herself is a cancer survivor.
