Volleyball U19 Champs Crowning This Afternoon
Marist Brothers High School, the holders of the trophy failed to reach the quarterfinals after losing two games last night. Team official and Vice-Principal of Marist Brother, Salote Nasome said this is not Marist Brother's year after they also missed out winning the boys division title in the Coca Cola Light Games last weekend.
The first quarterfinal in the under 19 division saw Nasinu Seconday beat John Wesly 2-0. The other quarterfinals will see Adventist High take on Laucala Bay, Ratu Sukuna Memorial School against Lami High and Suva Grammar to take on Levuka Public.
In the girls division Laucala Bay Secondary is on track to defend the title after reaching the quarterfinals in the under 19 division and in a short-while they will meet Adi Cakobau School. The first quarterfinal saw Sila Central beat Dudley High 2-0. Suva Grammar will meet Cathedral in the last quarterfinal.
The Fiji Secondary Schools Volleyball championship will end this afternoon.
