“This is a great opportunity for me to stamp my mark before joining the Crusaders next year.”
Those were the words of former Waratahs utility and Crusaders bound Ben Volavola who has been named in the Vodafone Flying Fijians 31 member squad for the Rugby World Cup next month.
Volavola, who played well in Fiji’s triumph in the Pacific Nations Cup final against Samoa, said he is ready to give his best shot for the national side.
He added that he still needs to improve on some things before the tournament kicks off.
The Flying Fijians leave for England at the end of this month.
Fiji will play a warm up match against Canada on the 6th of next month before taking on England in Twickenham in the opening match of the Rugby World Cup at 7am Saturday 19th September.
