Flying Fijians Fly half Ben Volavola admits his immediate focus is to cement a spot with the Crusaders.
The 25 year old made his test debut for the Flying Fijians last year and played in all four pool matches at the World Cup.
After three years at the Waratahs, Volavola has shifted to the Crusaders with the goal of filling the number ten jersey left vacant by 2015 World Player of the Year Dan Carter.
He says the chance to play for Fiji in the Pacific Tri‑Nations in June would be welcomed but it is still a long way off.
The Crusaders will face the Blues at 6.35pm Friday while the Brumbies play the Waratahs at 8.40pm.
