Mobile phone service provider, Vodafone Fiji may ask the government to extend the compulsory telephone registration period which ends this Saturday.
Corporate Affairs Manager, Shailendra Prasad said to date more than half a million people have been registered however there are some people in the outer islands, who are yet to be registered.
We will speak to Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on this issue later today.
