People of Lau will have enhanced Mobile network with greater reliability and connectivity as Vodafone Fiji commissioned its 303rd base station in the country on Lakeba Island in Lau.

In a statement, Vodafone Fiji managing director Aslam Khan said for the first time, people of Lau will be able to enjoy the vast selection of services offered by Vodafone and will be able to use the widely popular and recently launched M PAiSA service.

Khan said this network expansion is part of the company's aggressive multi million dollar network investment each year to stay ahead of the growing demand for Vodafone's voice and data services.

The company has invested more than $400 million nationwide since it was formed and invested more than $30 million in their 3G network.
