Fifteen students will be able to pursue studies in the field of computing and engineering at USP thanks to Vodafone Fiji.

Under the new agreement signed between the University and Vodafone, a committee will be set up to administer the $260,000 worth of scholarships that was today handed over to USP by the Chief Executive of Vodafone Fiji, Aslam Khan.

The move has been met with appreciation by the Vice Chancellor, Doctor Esther Williams who said that out of the current 20,000 students, majority are facing difficulties in paying their fees.
