The Saint Giles' Hospital in Suva will now have a new kitchen, more blind students will now be able to study at the hostel, more free eye clinics will be conducted in the north and more people in the rural areas will get clean drinking water.

All this has been made possible by the Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation which provided grants of over $170,000 to six local organisations to further assist them with the projects this morning.

The Rotaract Club of Suva received $20,000 to repair the kitchen at the Saint Giles Hospital which according to Executive, Rashika Deo is in a deplorable state.

She said many organisations do not want to be associated with such projects.
