Mobile Company Vodafone Fiji has so far registered about 75% of its customers as it gets nearer to the last day of registration tomorrow.
Corporate Affairs Manager Shalendra Prasad said that most of their customers who are still to get registered come from the rural areas and outer islands and getting their information and into the data base takes a while.
Meanwhile Vodafone Fiji customers who do not register their phones under the Telephone Services Decree by tomorrow may have their outgoing services terminated.
Prasad said they will continue to register people even after tomorrow which is the last day for registration.
However, he said people who will not register can expect their outgoing calls to be blocked but still enjoy incoming calls.
He said they will discuss the matter with the Communications Minister once he is in the country.
