Vodafone Fiji Offers Scholarships To Students
Vodafone Fiji has offered 25 Scholarships to FIT students for Diploma in Electrical Engineering Telecommunication and Networking studies for this year and next year.
FIT Administrative Officer, Rishi Dutt said students who received good marks in Form 7 or foundation courses are eligible for these scholarships, as this is designed to assist the financially disadvantaged students.
Voda Scholar Award is open until Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile five primary school students affected by the severe flooding early last month and who are from different ethnic backgrounds will have their school fees paid for the whole year by a Sydney Organisation.
Kids Connection Childcare Centre Director, Bob Ali from Sydney said aside from handing out food packs they want to do something for kids on a long term basis.
Ali said three of the kids are from the Western Division while two are from the East.
Ali said they would also like to start an organisation that would help kids in Fiji.
