A lot of emotion will be seen in the Vodafone Fiji Bati and the Australian Kangaroos clash this morning in their second Rugby League World Cup campaign.

Fiji Bati head coach Rick Stone has named a strong lineup that includes two former Kangaroos players captain Petero Civoniceva and winger Akuila Uate.

Uate said his sole focus is with the Bati and he has no hard feelings over his representative snubbing for Australia and NSW.

But Uate would still like to prove a point at the Rugby League World Cup.

The Newcastle Knights wing has already made a spectacular start to the tournament, scoring a hat-trick in Fiji’s opening win over Ireland on Tuesday.

He hopes to keep that form going when he faces the nation he has represented five times.

Meanwhile, Australian Kangaroos head coach Tim Sheens believes that they need to be aggressive against the Bati and need to be smart in their kicking game.

Sheens said this is a dangerous game for Australia and they do not want to be the next victim to fall to complacency.

Sheens has made plenty of changes to the team that beat England first up and there will be plenty of interest to see how Greg Inglis goes at fullback and Daly Cherry-Evans at halfback.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati and Australian Kangaroos clash kicks off in the next hour.
