The Vodafone Fiji 7s team escaped to a 24 - 17 victory over Kenya in their second pool match of the Scotland 7s tournament.
Replacement play-maker Waisea Nacuqu was again the hero for the side after scoring the winning try at full-time.
Kenya raced to an early 17 - 5 lead with Samisoni Viriviri scoring the only try for Fiji in the first half.
The Osea Kolinisau captained side was caught napping as the bulky Kenyans shrugged off defenders to burst through Fiji’s defence.
In the second half Fiji scored three unanswered tries to Benito Masilevu, Waisea Nacuqu and Samisoni Viriviri scoring his second in the match.
Fiji will take on Wales in their last pool match at 3.47am.
