The overall world rugby sevens series title may be out of sight but that doesn’t mean the Vodafone Fiji sevens side will give up the remaining two tournament titles.
Coach Ben Ryan said they still can finish in second place this year.
He added he is happy with where they are at the moment.
Last year Fiji finished third in the series with 121 points.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will arrive tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the title race now for the series is between New Zealand and South Africa as they have just seven points between.
New Zealand is chasing their 12th world series title while South Africa is after their second.
South Africa will need to win both the tournaments to win the series and hope that New Zealand does not make the finals in one of the tournaments.
The next tournament will be held in Scotland on the 4th and 5th of May.
