Technical Vocational Training is an integral part of social economic development.
These are the words of Director of the Fiji Institute of Technology Dr Ganesh Chand at the Symposium on Pacific Technical and Vocational Education and Training and PATVET Annual General Meeting at the FIT Raiwai campus this morning, attended by regional member countries.
Dr Chand said he hopes to change the mindset of people on how they view technical training, as it is an important engine in the growth of an economy.
The symposium with the theme, “The Pacific Plan - Regional Developments and Job Creation" ends tomorrow.
