The Native Land Appeals Tribunal led by former Magistrate Aminiasi Katonivualiku is currently taking submissions from the villagers of Vitogo, after chiefly title disputes for the Tui Vitogo title.
Ratu Viliame Sovasova was installed as Tui Vitogo last year however his elder sister Adi Makereta Roko disputed the Native Land Commission's decision claiming the title should be hers instead.
NLC based its ruling that all the late Tui Vitogo's are male, however Adi Makereta disputed that her rights had been violated as the eldest.
Meanwhile, the Tribunal will also be hearing submissions at Vitawa Village in Ra tomorrow, for the dispute of the chiefly title of the Tui Navatu between Ratu Akuila Kubou and Senivalati Toroki.
