Fiji's visitor arrivals have hit another record, with the month of May recording a 20.5% increase over the same period for 2009.
Tourism Fiji Chairman Patrick Wong said a total of 45,087 visitors were recorded for the month of May.
Wong added that the positive growth recorded is from all source markets.
Wong said the increase is attributed to the aggressive marketing initiatives, recovery in worldwide financial markets and entry of new airlines.
January to May's result totals 216,525 for this year eclipsing the 2009 results by 22.3%.
Australia has continued the growth with NZ, UK/Europe and America showing signs of strong growth which is expected to continue well into the end of the third quarter and early October.
