The Waratahs giant winger Taqele Naiyaravoro will not be able to face the Hurricanes this weekend after complications with his visa.
Restrictions on his current visa ruled out the Fiji‑born wing from facing the Highlanders in Dunedin earlier this season, with the same issue meaning he won’t be with the side in Wellington this weekend.
Naiyaravoro has been an effective weapon for the Waratahs so far in 2015 and the 120kg back will be missed on Saturday, with Peter Betham set to replace him.
It is currently unknown whether Naiyaravoro will be available for the Waratahs tour of South Africa later in the season.
After round 9 of the Super Rugby, the Hurricanes continue to top the table with 31 points, second are the Brumbies with 25 points while the Bulls trail in third place with 24 points.
The Waratahs will face the Hurricanes this Saturday at 4.30pm.
