Vodafone Fiji 7s speedster Samisoni Viriviri hopes to continue his try scoring feat in Scotland this weekend.
The Scotland 7s is Viriviri’s second last tournament as he will join a French club next month but the Dratabu, Nadi flyer wants to leave the season in flying fashion.
Viriviri is the leading top try scorer for the 2013/2014 world sevens series with 40 tries and he is also second on this season’s top points scorer with 200 points.
The 25 year old is the top bet to take out the top try scorer award this season as Tim Mickleson is second with 29 tries followed by Collins Injera, England’s Tom Mitchell and Benito Masilevu with 24 tries each.
National coach Ben Ryan said the Scotland and England 7s will be a special one for Viriviri.
The Scotland 7s kicks off tomorrow with the Vodafone Fiji 7s team playing Argentina at 9:30pm in their first pool match before taking on Kenya at 12:36am and Wales at 3:47am Sunday.
