The Fiji Police Force has today confirmed that there has been a dramatic decrease in the reported number of violent robberies in the country.
Assistant spokesperson Corporal Josaia Weicavu has confirmed that these has been through the joint effort of the Police Strike Back Team and Community Policing.
The crimes that decreased were Robbery with Violence, Home Invasions and House break-ins.
The only criminal activities that increased dramatically were rape and Indecent Assault.
