The villagers who want to move to another village will be registered under that village but will still remain registered in their respective clan.
That is one of the changes that was reiterated by the Indigenous Affairs Permanent Secretary, Colonel Apakuki Kurusiga to the Kadavu Provincial Council members.
Kurusiga said the change is a guideline which will be followed through by the Indigenous Affairs before it becomes a by-law.
Three villages which will be registered and confirmed as Fijian villages are Lavidi, Nama-nusa and Burelevu in Kadavu as people are already residing there.
