Various villages in the Bua District are now slowly moving back to their homes and taking stock of the damages caused by Tropical Cyclone Mick.

Bua Provincial Administrator, Jone Bacau said they are receiving reports from the village headmen (turaga-ni-koro) that while there have not been major damages to houses, most of the crops have been damaged.

Meanwhile, Officer in charge of Nabouwalu Samuela Matai said that there have been no reports of any fatalities but many people are devastated as their livelihood - dalo and grog farms have been damaged.
