Life will go on for the villagers of Kioa as they pick up the pieces after Hurricane Tomas.
Advisory Councilor David Taulia said that the village elders had a meeting earlier this week and they have decided that it would be best for the villagers to look for other means of income as their plantations on the island have all been destroyed.
Taulia added that not only have the villagers lost their source of income but their food source as well.
Commissioner Northern Colonel Inia Seruiratu said that emergency relief was being sent to the island late yesterday
