The Wailoa villagers near Monasavu have raised concern on why the DISMAC officials have not visited them as it has been more than a week after Cyclone Gene.

Spokesperson, Tomasi Tikonilia revealed that food is very scarce in their area after most of their cassava, dalo, vudi and breadfruit were damaged by strong winds.

Meanwhile, Tikonilia praises the FEA officials for their hard work to fix the electricity for the people of Fiji although the road up the Wailoa Power Station is in a pathetic condition.

The Director DISMAC is expected to comment on the matter.
