The villagers of Nukutubu, Rewa, are planning to purchase new TV sets especially for the Rugby World Cup Sevens this weekend.

Petero Nevote, a villager, said we should support the Fiji team and believes they can perform well in Dubai as the team has some experienced players who can bring glory to the nation.

Nukutubu village, which has 550 members, will all converge in the village community hall to watch the national team.

The village which has 4 mataqalis has agreed to buy 1kg of grog each to await the start of the World Cup.

Fiji's first game will be at 4.16am on Friday against Georgia.
