The people of Sawaieke village in Gau are expected to raise questions with the members of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) today on how the People's Charter can improve their daily lives.
The Turaga ni Koro of Sawaieke, Malcolm Lewanavanua told Fijivillage that while there is uncertainty amongst the people whether to support the Charter process, they are looking forward to meeting the team to raise their concerns.
Lewanavanua said they want to know if the People's Charter can help address their transportation problems and the extremely high prices for food on the Island.
The Three member NCBBF team is in Gau for ten days and visited Somosomo village yesterday before spending the night in Sawaieke.
They will make their presentation in Sawaieke village this morning.
