Tukavesi Police are questioning a 17yr old villager for allegedly raping a class four student this week.
Deputy Director Police Operations, SP Erami Raibe has confirmed that the alleged incident took place when the 9yr old victim was asleep inside her home.
It is alleged the 17yr old entered the house and allegedly raped her.
He is in custody at the Tukavesi Police station.
